Gabriel Boyd is a Senior Youth Trainer for CTCN. Gabriel is a dedicated youth development specialist and trainer. Gabriel is a dynamic entrepreneur, owning the 881 Grab & Go restaurant in Hartford, CT. With a Bachelor of Science in Social Relations from Cheyney University, he has extensive experience working with at-risk youth and coordinating youth services in Hartford.
His professional journey includes roles as a Direct Care Specialist at Community Solutions, Inc., and various positions at the Urban League of Greater Hartford from 2004 to 2011, where he served as an Engagement Specialist, Youth Program Coordinator, and Education Specialist. Boyd also directed the Youth Employment and Learning Program at the Blue Hills Civic Association for over eight years.
In addition to his hands-on experience, Boyd holds a Level I Youth Advanced Kingian Nonviolence certification. He has been instrumental in the ThinKING Youth Nonviolence Leadership programs and projects at CTCN for more than six years, contributing to the development of young leaders in the community. His work reflects a strong commitment to empowering youth and promoting nonviolence through education and mentorship.
