WHAT:
The Connecticut Center for Nonviolence, presents, A dynamic virtual training series:

Only Love Can Do That, Kingian Nonviolence in a time or Unrest. The training will take virtually on zoom. CTCN is grateful to receive funding from the Yale Community for New Haven Fund to produce the series.

The training will incorporate: Responding to conflict, confronting the core of injustice, the Six Principles of Nonviolence, advocating for the advancement of the “Beloved Community” and an overview of successful, nonviolent campaigns. Participants will develop cooperative problem-solving strategies needed to improve the community environment by decreasing tension and hostility.

The series will be led by certified, Kingian Nonviolence Trainers, Victoria Christgau, James Lane and New Haven activist, Pastor John Lewis with other guest presenters from CTCN.

The CTCN, is a non-profit organization that empowers communities to reconcile conflict through education and the arts. CTCN has worked with hundreds of people to train and implement the philosophy and strategies of Kingian Nonviolence across racial, social, economic and generational divides.
