We hope this message finds you well and thriving, even in these challenging times for our nation and the world. Now more than ever, it’s essential that we care for the most vulnerable among us and work together to uplift those within our reach.
We’ve just wrapped up a tremendously productive academic season—one that has impacted hundreds of young people across multiple communities through strategic partnerships and powerful programming.

Our six-year partnership with CREC (Capital Region Educational Council) Schools continues to flourish. Youth in middle and high school meet three times each week throughout the school year. These sessions are designed to spark deep, critical conversations about current events and equip students with the tools to practice and promote nonviolence solutions in their personal and community life.
Thanks to robust partnerships with the Wallace Foundation, CTMurals/RiseUP Group, OPP and Xavier School, we’ve been able to expand our Kingian Nonviolence workshops to more young people across Connecticut. In New Haven, youth are meeting regularly under the leadership of Senior Trainer Pastor John Lewis, in collaboration with Project Longevity, to grow their journey in nonviolence practice and community building.

As we shift into summer, momentum is growing!
We’re launching two youth-centered projects in Hartford, and we’re honored to facilitate a new Kingian Core Training for New Haven Police Recruits this July. These initiatives are part of our ongoing commitment to building a more just, peaceful, and empowered future—together.
